Pamela L. Burman is a principal in the accounting and auditing group at Gettry Marcus CPA, P.C. and the practice leader of the firm’s Not-for-Profit group. With over 35 years of experience in accounting, tax and financial services, Ms. Burman specializes in providing audit and consulting services for regional and national middle market privately held companies and not-for-profit organizations. She has significant experience performing audits and providing consulting services to companies in various industry sectors with emphasis on construction, manufacturing and real estate entities.
In addition, Ms. Burman is a Quickbooks ProAdvisor and trains both accountants and clients on various accounting software programs. She also regularly teaches continuing professional education courses to the firm’s staff and is a senior member of Gettry Marcus’ Quickbooks Committee, as well as the Accounting & Auditing, Firm Administration and Marketing Committees. Prior to joining Gettry Marcus, she was an accounting manager at Kraft Haiken & Bell, CPA’s in New York.
Ms. Burman is a graduate of Lehman College with a B.S. in accounting. She is a former member of the Subcontractor Trade Association (STA) and regularly volunteers her time to Sunrise Day Camp, the only day camp in the world for children with cancer and their siblings.
